We prioritize visitor privacy. We do not require accounts or user registration to read our technical articles. We collect minimal information under two categories:
- Voluntarily Submitted Data: When you submit an article correction, feedback, or email inquiry, you provide your name and email address. This information is used strictly to respond to your communication.
- Anonymized Technical Metrics: Standard HTTP server logs collect anonymized IP addresses, browser user agents, referring URLs, and page request timestamps to monitor system health and mitigate DDoS attacks.
2. Google AdSense & Advertising Cookies
LAYERLEE may display contextually relevant advertisements served by Google LLC (Google AdSense):
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites on the Internet.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our readers based on their visit to LAYERLEE and/or other sites.

3. Google Analytics (GA4)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which technical topics resonate with readers. GA4 operates with IP anonymization enabled by default. We do not transmit personally identifiable information (PII) to Google Analytics.
4. Hosting & Infrastructure
Our publication is hosted on Vercel with database infrastructure provided by Supabase. All network connections are encrypted end-to-end via TLS/HTTPS.
